What Makes Monstera Special?

How to Grow and Care for Monstera

Light Requirements 🌤️


  • Bright indirect light is ideal

  • Can tolerate medium light

  • Morning sun is beneficial

  • Protect from harsh afternoon rays

  • More light = more fenestrations

Water & Substrate 💧


  • Water when top 2-3 inches of soil are dry

  • Reduce watering in winter

  • Use well-draining soil mix

  • Always check soil moisture before watering

  • Yellow leaves often indicate overwatering

Soil Mix Recipe:

  • 40% quality potting soil / coco coir

  • 30% orchid / pine bark

  • 20% perlite

  • 10% charcoal

Humidity & Air Flow 💨

  • Prefer 60%+ humidity

  • Tolerate normal home humidity
